Start building your TST Meeting Agenda by setting the date and time for the meeting. If you choose to "Add TST-7 to student print records," a Meeting Summary form will be printed for each student covered. While high schools can easily fit Tier II students in with Tier III students, things are much more demanding at the lower elementary level. Just check the appropriate box to "Omit Tier II Students." When the meeting agenda is set up to your specific needs, you may send an email notification to each teacher telling them when to arrive at the meeting and what students will be covered. Note: The Process Guide and other documents contain dozens of dates. So how do you know when a date is important for an agenda meeting and when it is not?
Dates that place the student on the weekly meeting agenda are always marked with a red "Agenda".

When you ask TST Monitor 2 to create the agenda, it goes through the records of every student to see if any meetings whould be scheduled for that student on that day. The result is a suggested time schedule by tier, teacher, and student. Several options are available here. You may click the "X" to eliminate a student from the meeting. The small up and down arrows that appear next to the teacher's name may be used to shift an entire class up to down. This might be necessary to match a teacher's planning period. Any item in the time column may be changed by typing in a new time. If, for example, examination of a particular student was going to require more than 15 minutes, you might extend the time of the next student forward by a few minutes. Because this would disrupt the entire schedule, you would click the small clock to recalculate all following students. Finally, you may choose to move a student up or down in the order. It is possible to move a student completely out of the class, but doing so will bring up a warning that the child will be separated from others in that class. This is allowed, but the warning shows TST Monitor 2's diligence in maintaining order. |
