RTI (Response to intervention) |
|
|---|---|
What is this RTI thing? |
RTI is a collaborative effort, a joining of like minds, where educators pool their resources to determine what interventions are effective and how these interventions might be improved. There is a great deal of information available on this subject from the web. You can learn the details of the plan from the RTI Action Network. |
| Where does the RTI model leave us? | While the RTI model is something that we fully support (heck, our TST Monitor software implements the RTI model) RTI is still, in the end, only a model. It is a great set of tools and offers a plethora of ideas, but the practical end of the education is in the doing - not the discussion. |
| Where's the beef? | After you have explored the RTI resources available from every nook and cranny on the internet, you still need a practical tool for the implementation of these ideas. That's where TST Monitor comes in. We provide step by step instructions, information storage, and printable forms that automatically track every facet of the Three Tier Model implemented through Teacher Support Teams (TST). This is more than a place to type information into a form. Our software calculates dates, sets meeting agendas, and builds letters to parents than can be dropped into a windowed envelope and mailed. You owe it to yourself, to your staff, and to your students to take a look at this product. |
